Katie Thurston Details 'Mentality' Going Into Stage 4 Cancer Treatment
Katie Thurston will soon begin treatment for stage 4 breast cancer, which has spread to her liver
“Lymph nodes, breast and liver biopsies,” Thurston, 34, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 30, sharing a topless selfie of her various ports and insertion sites. “I had a small lump in my breast around the 10’oclock [sic] spot,” Thurston, 34, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, February 15. Obviously, we were wanting to plan a wedding and there’s a lot of emotions that come in with chemo and the impact and the health and we don’t know what the next year looks like,” Thurston exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month.
