When the home was first listed, a brochure told potential buyers not to fall into Katie's empty pool and also warned the land could be contaminated by waste. The former model had paid £1.35m for the property in 2014 from former Tory peer Francis Maude and it featured in a Channel Four series as she attempted to renovate the house. Contract cleaners were brought in to clear away the piles of rubbish and spruce up the property before it was put on the market by local estate agents HJ Burt.
