about his famous ex, the 35-year-old confesses his deepest fear – that after two decades under the surgeon’s scalpel, Katie’s “surgery addiction”, which shows no sign of stopping, could one day cost her her life. Carl’s own wake-up call came during a couple’s trip to Turkey, where he was going to have full body liposuction alongside Katie – but lost his nerve once he saw the “shocking state” of her after surgery when she was wheeled out of the operating theatre. Carl says that he would sometimes glimpse Katie at home, Googling old pictures of herself from the 1990s when she was still known as Jordan – and remembers her “constantly” pulling her face up with her hands – miming the effects of a facelift.
