Katie Price reveals she didn't attend court hearing because she was 'so drained' - as she is handed £880 fine for driving without a licence and insurance

The former glamour model, 45, was due at Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, charged with driving without insurance and was given a £880 fine.

Katie drove a Range Rover on August 2 last year on the A14 bypass in Kettering, Northamptonshire, without insurance and without a valid driver's licence but was recognised by a police officer at a petrol station. Magistrates sitting in Northampton tried Price in her absence after she failed to show up to court and found her guilty after being shown CCTV footage of the model, wearing black slippers, stepping out of the driver's side of her bronze-coloured car. The 45-year-old model, of Dial Post, near Horsham, West Sussex, was given 28 days to pay the total amount of £1,852, imposed in relation to the offences committed on the A14 at Kettering on August 2 last year.
