Katie Price accused of being 'irresponsible' after promoting low calorie diet to fans

An Instagram video posted by Katie Price for a diet food firm has been banned for not being clear it was an advert and for promoting an 'irresponsible low calorie diet'

Reality TV star Katie Price ended her video showing off a late-night nibble, saying: "Tonight I am having the Skinny Food chocoholic malt balls. Katie agreed to take down the ad and confirmed she followed a calorie deficit diet, which she thinks is common amongst people in the UK. Finally, the ASA found that the name ‘Skinny Food’ was a health claim within advertising regulations, but there was no evidence that products in the range contained a substance that would produce weight loss.
