However, Katie confessed that her Achilles' heel is the lure of junk food: "What doesn't help is Maltesers, Milky Ways, Wispas, crisps... cups of tea and [a healthy diet] goes out of the window." Post-menopause, reduced levels of oestrogen make it trickier for bodies to manage blood sugar, triggering tiredness, mood swings, and mental haze.
