Katie Holmes heads to her Broadway show in chic trench coat - after daughter Suri Cruise 'attended showing of her play'
The actress, 45, headed to the theatre in an off-white trench thrown over a cosy turtleneck and jeans. She trekked through the rain in alligator print ankle boots and paired the look with faded jeans.
The publication reported that Suri was the first audience member to jump to her feet, as well as dermatologist Dr. Kenneth Mark and divorce attorney Ken Jewell, when Holmes emerged to take her bow. Suri has spent much of the last 12 years living in the shadow of frenzied speculation over her infamously fractured relationship with her famous father, Tom Cruise, whom Holmes was married to from 2006 to 2012. Cruise has all but been exiled from his youngest child's life for many years - a bitter rift that stems in large part from Katie and Suri's decision to cut ties with his controversial Scientology faith.
