Katie Couric took to social media to announced the birth of her first grandchild on Sunday.
The 67-year-old distinguished journalist — who announced her daughter Ellie, 32, was expecting with husband Mark Dobrosky back in December — used Instagram and her website to share the happy news. Couric wrote in a caption to her 1.7 million followers, 'John Albert Dobrosky was born on his due date, Saturday, March 23rd at 8:23 am, just shy of seven pounds.'
