Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘A House of Dynamite’ Sets Fall Release on Netflix and in Theaters

Netflix has set an October release for Kathryn Bigelow’s new thriller “A House of Dynamite,” starring Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, and Greta Lee.

Starring Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts, Anthony Ramos, Moses Ingram, Jonah Hauer-King, Greta Lee and Jason Clarke, the film is expected to be one of Netflix’s marquee fall releases and a potential awards contender. Music is composed by Academy Award winner Volker Bertelmann (“All Quiet on the Western Front”), with sound design by Paul N.J. Ottosson and casting by Susanne Scheel. “A House of Dynamite” is part of what appears to be a robust fall slate for Netflix, which also includes Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein,” Noah Baumbach’s “Jay Kelly,” Edward Berger’s “Ballad of a Small Player,” Rian Johnson’s “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” and Richard Linklater’s “Nouvelle Vague,” acquired out of Cannes.
