Comedian Katherine Ryan has been diagnosed with melanoma - a form of skin cancer - and was seen for the first time since sharing the news as she arrived at her show in Blackpool

Katherine Ryan put on a brave face with a smile as she was pictured back at work just days after revealing her skin cancer diagnosis. The 41 year old comedian was pictured on Sunday evening as she arrived in Blackpool for her show, part of her ongoing tour Battleaxe, which began last autumn and is set to wrap up in May. Snapped outside The Grand Theatre, Katherine, 41, opted for a laid-back look, in comfy beige tracksuit bottoms, Converse, and an oversized fleece.
