Katherine Jenkins, 43, stuns in regal purple gown as she attends King's Trust Global Gala in New York City

The Welsh opera singer, 43, was the epitome of royal chic in a fabulous off-the-shoulder ball gown which featured ruffled tulle sleeves.

The event, hosted by Motown legend Lionel Richie and former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, was founded in the United Kingdom by King Charles III with the aim of helping disadvantaged young people. Katherine's fabulous outing came just hours after she announced herself and Sir Anthony Hopkins CBE will join forces for upcoming Handel biopic The King Of Covent Garden (pictured in 2023) In a statement, Andrew said the film's story will hinge upon 'an unlikely pair, who meet each other at their lowest points, and together create a magnificent never-heard-before 'sound for the people': the groundbreaking masterpiece Messiah, the annual global bestseller for close to 300 years'.
