She felt that the soft look was right for her character, Vogue model–turned–war correspondent Elizabeth "Lee" Miller. "There's a bit where Lee's sitting on a bench in a bikini," Winslet told Harper's Bazaar UK for its September issue cover story published Tuesday, "and one of the crew came up between takes and said: 'You might want to sit up straighter.' Lee, which had film festival screenings beginning last fall, will be released in U.S. theaters on September 27.
