Kate Winslet shuns Botox and Hollywood beauty standards for makeup tricks, dog walks and cold water swimming as her very British approach to ageing is revealed ahead of her milestone 50th
Kate Winslet is turning 50 next year and in a celeb world packed with fillers and botox, the British actress is turning the tide on aging in Hollywood.
Kate follows a balanced diet, sharing cooking duties with her vegan husband Ned Abel Smith, but says she will cut out her favourite treats in the days before a red carpet. Another fitness trend which has reached Kate in her idyllic Sussex village where she lives with Ned and their son Bear, ten, is cold water swimming, which she credits with helping her circulation and keeping her skin clear. The family own a beach hut on the West Sussex coastline and Kate can often be found there, warming up after a sea swim but she also incorporates Hof's philosophies into her daily life, challenging herself to stay in a cold shower for as long as possible every morning.
