Kate Winslet Addresses ‘Appalling’ Comments Around Her Weight in ‘Titanic’


Kate Winslet discussed her latest film 'Lee,' and addressed fat-shaming comments she received following the release of 'Titanic.'

Winslet opened up about fat-shaming comments she received from reporters who fixated on her weight as she graced red carpets around the Titanic premiere, in a 60 Minutes interview released Sunday. At age 20, Winslet was cast to star in Titanic, opposite of Leonardo DiCaprio, which banked more than $674 million at the domestic box office. Miller first served as a war correspondent for Vogue and photographed early images of Nazi concentration camps at Buchenwald and Dachau.
