In a 2016 ITV documentary celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday, Kate shared: "I can remember being at Sandringham for the first time at Christmas. Recalling a humorous anecdote on Peter Crouch's podcast, William admitted: "I did get my wife a pair of binoculars once - she's never let me forget that." He joked that this quirky present might have been a pivotal moment in their relationship: "That was early on in the courtship, that was - I think that sealed the deal," he said, prompting laughter from Peter.
