Kate Middleton's savage reaction to Meghan Markle's joke at royal event
Meghan Markle tried to break the ice with a joke at her first Trooping the Colour, but it fell flat with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, according to Prince Harry
In his memoir Spare, Harry, who had only recently married Meghan before the ceremony, wrote that his wife tried to crack a joke with the Princess of Wales but was met with an awkward "yawning silence". In Spare, Harry detailed the highly-publicised fallout between the royal couples, including revelations from private conversations and claims that Kate and William "stereotyped" Meghan, reports the Express. The disagreement sparked when Meghan responded to Kate's forgetfulness by suggesting she had "baby brain", a comment that reportedly left the Princess of Wales feeling insulted.
