Kate Middleton's cancer treatment plan – what it means and how long it will last


The Princess of Wales' treatment plan for her cancer will depend on many factors including the type and stage at which it is at, which the Palace has made clear it will not be releasing

The Princess of Wales shared the heart-breaking news that she has been diagnosed with cancer on Friday, 22 March and is in the early stages of a treatment plan. Experts in treating cancer, known as oncologists, often suggest patients take preventive chemotherapy to get rid of any remaining traces of the disease. “It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.”
