Kate Middleton: BBC Rejects Complaints Its Photo Edit Coverage Was “Excessive & Sensationalist”

The BBC has rejected complaints from viewers who said that its coverage of the Kate Middleton edited photo was over the top.

The BBC has rejected complaints from UK viewers who said its coverage of the edited Kate Middleton Mother’s Day photo was over the top. The day after major news agencies withdrew the Kensington Palace picture, the BBC’s main bulletins dedicated eight minutes to the story, which equated to around a third of their air time.
