Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Princess of Wales will not be taking the salute at the Colonel’s Review, the traditional rehearsal on 8 June for Trooping the Colour. While the Princess' attendance at the actual event on 15 June remains unconfirmed, Kate would have a significant role this year as the Irish Guards, of which she is Colonel, are trooping their Regimental Colour in front of the King.
