Princess Kate Middleton was named patron of Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice in Wales which Princess Diana supported before it opened after her death

On January 14, Princess Kate Middleton reached a major milestone with her emotional return to London’s Royal Marsden Hospital, where she was treated for cancer last year. “As our Patron, Her Royal Highness will be an inspiration for children with life-shortening conditions and their families, our dedicated staff and volunteers and everyone who so generously supports us,” Rees said. The Princess of Wales, 43, paid a visit to the staff and patients of the Royal Marsden Hospital in London on Tuesday, January 14, during which she opened up about her own recovery journey.
