Kate Middleton shares emotional Christmas message at royal family carol service

The Princess of Wales was joined by her family at Westminster Abbey's Together At Christmas carol concert, following a difficult year of health battles for the royals

Delivering heartfelt readings were thespian Richard E Grant, Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, Sophie Okonedo of Hotel Rwanda fame, and Team GB's swimming hero, Adam Peaty. During a dance class themed around Taylor Swift on 29 July, three young lives, Bebe King, Elsie Dot Stancombe, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, were devastatingly lost. Echoing the spirit of generosity, the Palace shared that Kate's vision for this year's carol service was one of uplifting those helping others in their darkest hours, emphasising the crucial role of love and empathy.
