The Princess of Wales has been pictured in public for the first time since Kensington Palace announced that she'd been admitted to hospital for "planned abdominal surgery"

For the outing, Kate kept things casual as she wore her long brown hair down and opted to wear a black coat and a pair of large sunglasses. As a result, the Princess of Wales’ outing is the first time that the mum-of-three has been pictured in public since she joined fellow members of the Royal Family at Sandringham on Christmas Day.
