Kate Middleton’s cancer announcement was particularly impressive given her ‘inherently shy’ nature, says royal author Sally Bedell Smith

Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 that King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis one week after he was admitted to The London Clinic to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” the statement read, noting that Charles, 75, felt “wholly positive” about his prognosis.
