Kate Middleton offered to appear on Vogue covers to showcase role as a 'global fashion icon'
Anna Wintour , the magazine's editor-in-chief and the most powerful woman in fashion, is said to have made a personal appeal to the Princess of Wales.
A source told the Mail on Sunday that Ms Wintour reached out via an intermediary to offer Kate her choice of global Vogue covers, including the US and UK versions. The Princess of Wales during a visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, where she received her cancer treatment, to personally thank staff for her care 'In my new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, my hope is that by supporting groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we might save many more lives, and transform the experience of all those impacted by cancer.
