Kate Middleton Nominated for Time Person of the Year After ‘Unplanned’ Year
Following her treatment for cancer this year, Princess Kate Middleton has been announced as one of Time magazine’s Person of the Year contenders
Instead, Princess Kate is nominated for the honor alongside nine global figures from the worlds of politics and business like billionaire businessman Elon Musk, podcaster Joe Rogan, Meta magnate Mark Zuckerberg and incoming president Donald Trump. One month later, Kensington Palace confirmed that Kate wouldn’t be involved in any royal engagements until after April at the earliest due to a planned abdominal surgery. Since then, the princess has returned to many of her usual public duties, most recently stepping out on Friday, December 6, at the annual Christmas carol service at London’s Westminster Abbey, dressed in a festive red peacoat.
