Since The Princess of Wales married Prince William, she has taken over the role of participating in the St. Patrick's Day parade annually (with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic). Although Kate was unable to make the parade this year, the Prince and Princess of Wales posted on their Instagram and Twitter accounts to pay tribute to the Irish Guards.
