A statement from Kensington Palace, where she used to reside, said the wife of Prince William will not return to public duties “until after Easter,” a lengthy time out the limelight. “Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for planned abdominal surgery,” said the statement. The palace added that Middleton is aware of the interest her surgery will generate and hopes the public “will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible”.
