The Princess of Wales will have been left shocked by an investigation over claims staff attempted to access her private medical records - but won't let it get the better of her
It comes amid an influx of conspiracy theories surrounding the Princess, who has been absent from public life since Christmas time, with Kensington Palace later announcing that she would be undergoing surgery. Discussing the recent attempts to gain access to Kate's medical records, Royal biographer and editor of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward, told The Mirror: "The news that a staff member in the London Clinic attempted to access the Princess of Wales's medical records came as a shock when the royal family were first informed. Ingrid added that this shocking news has come about during a time in which Kensington Palace was already "under siege" from the "social media storm" surrounding Kate's edited Mother's Day photo and the Prince and Princess of Wales's recent outing to Windsor Farm Shop.
