Kate Middleton ‘mortified’ by dad Michael’s embarrassing 2-word Wimbledon comment
The Princess of Wales's love for tennis is well-documented and obvious each year when she enthusiastically attends Wimbledon as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. While Kate, who recently appeared at Trooping the Colour, is not expected to visit the famed tournament this year due to her treatment for cancer, other members of the Royal Family and the Middleton clan are regular faces in the Royal box who have also been seen getting absorbed in the games.
During a 2018 visit to Bond Primary School in South West London, Kate, who was expecting Prince Louis at the time, joined young students for Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative training sessions.
