Kate Mara Joins Elisabeth Moss & Kerry Washington In Apple’s ‘Imperfect Women’
'Imperfect Women' has tapped Kate Mara to star opposite Elisabeth Moss & Kerry Washington in the limited series for Apple TV+, Deadline has learned.
The novel will be adapted for television by Annie Weisman, creator of Apple TV+ ‘s acclaimed Rose Byrne series Physical, who writes and exec produces. Other EPs include Moss and Lindsey McManus for Love & Squalor Pictures, which initially optioned the book, along with Washington and Pilar Savone for Simpson Street, and Hall. An Emmy nominee, Mara will next be seen starring opposite Paul Rudd and Tim Robinson in Fifth Season’s oddball comedy Friendship, an A24 acquisition title, which premiered in the Midnight Madness section of TIFF and is headed next to SXSW.
