Kate Hudson Wishes Scott Disick's Cameo in Running Point Was 'Longer': 'It Was So Fun' (Exclusive)

Scott Disick makes a brief but hilarious cameo in 'Running Point' and Kate Hudson tells PEOPLE it was "so fun" having him on set that she wished they could've done more with him for the show

The TV personality makes a cameo in episode 7 of the Netflix series, during a scene when Hudson's character Isla Gordon is dealing with the demanding mom of one of her star players — resulting in her getting punched in the face and knocked out. The actress, who plays the newly-appointed president of L.A.'s NBA team, the Waves, in the series, says there was "a lot of stuff happening" amid Disick's cameo, but she and her castmates felt like they "could do a whole thing with Scott." The 10-episode sitcom from Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen marks Hudson's first foray into TV — and she told PEOPLE why she was sold on the story so quickly.
