Kate Hudson paid tribute to her stepfather Kurt Russell on Father's Day on June 16 with a touching tribute. Hudson's mother, Goldie Hawn, and Russell have had a blended family together for more than 40 years, and the actor has raised Hudson since she was 4 years old.
On Sunday, June 16, the Glass Onion actress, 45, shared a post on Instagram paying tribute to Russell's role in her life, as she lovingly called him "Pa." "He gave me the gift of confidence, instilling a knowingness in me that I deserved everything I worked for and I knew that he'd always have my back in whatever challenges may lay ahead. The “Talk About Love” singer has also spoken about Goldie and Kurt's relationship — which has lasted more than four decades — telling PEOPLE in an interview in May that their "dedication" has taught her so much over the years.
