Kate Garraway's brand-new film documenting the final year of her husband's life has revealed her struggle to pay for Derek Draper's medical care amid his battle with Covid-19

Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway’s newest documentary airs on Tuesday 26 March and reveals Derek Draper’s final year before he died in January. She said during an episode of GMB: “The idea came from him at the beginning of 2023 and he suddenly said, as words would come in fits and starts, 'are we making another documentary?'" Kate continued: "Derek's care, the basic needs, not including any therapy, which I am happy to pay on top, is nearly £4,000 a week.
