Kate Garraway still 'in early stages of grief' after husband Derek Draper's death in January


Kate Garraway has opened up on her first Christmas without husband Derek Draper, following his death in January, with a heartbreaking comment on Good Morning Britain.

Derek passed away in January after a long battle with Covid-19In a segment shining a spotlight on the work of carers, Kate opened up about Christmas and said: “It’s very raw Susanna to be honest. Alongside opening up about her family on Good Morning Britain, Kate will join her co-hosts as they hear music from Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, as well as a show stopping performance from the cast of The Lion King. The show will also reunite Pride of Britain best friends Jacob Newson and Florrie Bark live on air before crowning the winner of this year’s 1 Million Minutes Len Goodman award.
