Kate Garraway has received a third National Television Award nomination for her documentary Derek's Story, which followed the final year of her late husband Derek Draper's life

Kate Garraway has shared her hopes for her latest documentary about her late husband, Derek Draper, to snag a National Television Award (NTA), expressing her desire for carers to "get some focus". The beloved Good Morning Britain presenter has been nominated for the third time in the best authored documentary category with ' Kate Garraway: Derek's Story', which poignantly captures the final year of Draper's life. Earlier this year, she expressed to ITV's This Morning that she harbours no "regret or begrudge" over her significant debts and feels "lucky" to hold a position where "people understood and gave her time to rush off to hospital at a moment's notice".
