The TV presenter made her emotional return to Good Morning Britain on Monday, 5 February, as she talked to GMB hosts, Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley, live from her home. Derek died on 3 January, aged 56, after suffering a heart attack, brought on from the devastating effects of long Covid, which he battled for four years. Kate will return to Good Morning Britain in person later this week on Thursday, 8 February, where she will present the show alongside her longtime pal and colleague, Ben Shephard.
