Kate Garraway has made an deeply emotional speech about her late husband Derek Draper eight months after his death- as she picked up the National Television Award for best authored documentary for a film about the final year of his life. The Good Morning Britain host told reporters afterwards that it felt "very, very strange" to be collecting the honour at the ceremony at The O2 in London, where she was joined by their two children, Darcey, 17 and Billy, 11. "I have so much more to say, and of course I will do so in due course, but for now I just want to thank all the medical teams who fought so hard to save him and to make his final moments as comfortable and dignified as possible."
