Kate del Castillo’s Cholawood, Endemol Shine Boomdog Adapt Arturo Perez Reverte’s Novel ‘Revolution’
Endemol Shine Boomdog has optioned Arturo Pérez-Reverte’s ‘Revolution,’ with Kate del Castillo’s Cholawood executive producing.
Published in October 2022, “Revolución” delves into the essence of human nature in an adventure that unfolds against the dramatic canvas of the Mexican Revolution in the era of Emiliano Zapata and Francisco Villa. Said Endemol Shine Boomdog CEO Alejandro Rincón: “Arturo Pérez-Reverte is a masterful storyteller, and this endeavor is an exceptional addition to our diverse slate. It’s a fresh approach to a story of action, love, and adventure that I hold dear since I conceived and wrote it, and I am sure its outcome will be excellent,” said Pérez-Reverte, a Spanish author and journalist who has seen several of his books adapted into either film or television, including “The Fencing Master,” “Captain Alatriste” and “Comanche Territory” among many others.
