Actress Kate Beckinsale shared an emotional Thanksgiving post, in which she reflected on losing her stepfather Roy Battersby and beloved cat Clive.
The Serendipity continued: 'Don’t feel bad if Thanksgiving makes you more aware of what you have lost and fear losing and if you have it in you, maybe try to glimpse the absolute gratitude and joy to have and have had these beings in life.' 'Quite quickly and then I was in hospital for six weeks because the grief had burned a hole in my oesophagus, which made me vomit copious amounts of blood, and I found eating very hard.' Kate's stepdad Roy Battersby died in January following a 'brief illness' after being diagnosed with two forms of cancer the summer before (pictured left with her mother Judy right)
