Actress Kate Beckinsale fired back on social media after some Instagram users made comments about her weight.
Beckinsale shared a video on Instagram of her tying up her hair in a net while wearing a pink ensemble with the caption: “Let’s have a toast for the douchebags. In the post, she explained to someone off-camera that she was putting her hair in a net because a number of her followers had complained about not doing “age-appropriate things.” In the comments, one user told the actress to “Go do some squats. Beckinsale would also address the body shamer in her comments, writing that her recent weight loss was due to “stress and grief” relating to her watching her stepfather dying “quite shockingly” and her mother having stage 4 cancer.
