Karol G graced the 2024 Video Music Awards on Wednesday to perform her recent single, “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” in front of a beachy backdrop before she shimmied to her merengue hit alongside Camila Cabello and Taylor Swift. Karol G, who was featured on Rolling Stone’ s September 2023 cover, is also nominated in the Best Latin category for her song “Mi Ex Tenía Razón” off the Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) mixtape. The Colombian superstar last appeared on the VMAs stage in 2023 and performed her standout hit from Bichota Season, “Oki Doki,” and her verse from her Brazilian funk collab “Tá OK” (the track features Dennis, Maluma, and MC Kevin O Chris).
