Karol G Doc Trailer Captures Singer’s Rise to Fame: ‘Only Fools Bet Against a Bichota’

Karol G unveiled the trailer for Tomorrow was Beautiful on Tuesday.

The video features various clips from the singer performing in front of thousands in packed stadiums to more intimate moments, including footage from her childhood and conversations with Karol as she opens up about her life, career, and rise to stardom. A synopsis also depicts the doc as a portrayal of “Karol’s rise from humble beginnings in Medellín, Colombia, to international stardom, as she proves the critics wrong with an electrifying, record-breaking stadium tour” and her “relentless work ethic” that “paved a path for future generations of Latinas.” Tomorrow was Beautiful is set to release on May 8 and was directed by Cristina Costantini, who also produced Netflix’s documentary on famed astrologer Walter Mercado.
