Filmed in the Peruvian Andes in Spanish and Quechua languages, “The Anatomy of the Horses” represents an exploration of time and revolution in the remote highlands of Perú. Madrid-based Sideral handles Spanish distribution rights to “The Anatomy of the Horses,” which world premieres July 7 at the Karlovy Vary Festival, as part of the Proxima Competition. Proxima offers space to the world’s new voices to complement the Crystal Globe Competition by celebrating contemporary cinema with a collection of forward-thinking films and discoveries.
