Although she skipped the red carpet, Karla Sofía Gascón, the embattled star nominated for best actress for her performance in “ Emilia Pérez,” attended the Oscars on Sunday night at the tail end of a troubled awards cycle. She first appeared during Conan O’Brien’s monologue, after the comedian made a joke about the number of f-bombs her publicist likely uttered this award season. Gascón made her first post-scandal red carpet appearance at the César Awards in Paris on Friday night.
