Kanye West’s Yeezy Website Down After Selling Swastika T-Shirt; Shopify Says West ‘Violated Our Terms’ Amid Backlash
Kanye West's website was pulled offline after selling a Nazi shirt. Shopify says the rapper violated its terms.
Visitors to the Yeezy website are now met with error messages that read “something went wrong” and “this store is unavailable.” The site had used e-commerce platform Shopify to complete its transactions. West flipped the website after the advertisement aired and replaced its previous content with just one item: The swastika T-shirt that was on sale for $20 each. Amid the antisemitic rants, celebrities such as David Schwimmer called on X owner Elon Musk to remove the rapper from the social media platform.
