Kanye West Sued for Sexual Harassment by Former Assistant
Kanye West was sued by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, for sexual harassment and claimed she was fired after she received explicit texts from the rapper
The New York Times and the New Yorker first published investigative pieces in 2017 that accused disgruntled movie producer Harvey Weinstein of decades of sexual assault and harassment. In addition to the explicit texts and phone calls, she also claimed to receive sexual videos and photos which included West having sex. “None of it is true and the allegations do a disservice to the Donda Academy’s current staff and students and their parents who will attest to their positive experience,” attorney Gregory Suhr said in court docs obtained by NBC News in June 2023.
