Kanye West was joined on stage by his 10-year-old daughter North in Paris on Sunday night after she was named as one of the youngest ever Billboard Hot 100 stars.
It's unclear how Kanye compares his situation to Elvis', though he might be alluding to the King of Rock and Roll being censored, banned from shows, and threatened with jail for his provocative performances. Kanye apologized in December his various anti-Semitic outbursts, which even saw him expressing support for Adolf Hitler, and resulted in him losing a string of lucrative endorsement deals and being dropped by his talent agency. In 2022, West made anti-Semitic comments in interviews and social media, including an October Twitter post in which he said he would soon go 'death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,' an apparent reference to the U.S. defense readiness condition scale known as DEFCON.
