There were also homophobic, misogynistic, and ableist posts — grim sign of the times stuff — and instead of “BILL COSBY INNOCENT,” we got “@DonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.” We should all recognize petulant attention-seeking behavior when we see it, and there’s nothing particularly novel about Ye recycling“Slavery is a choice,” or expressing his admiration for the Nazis and asking to be called “YAYDOLF YITLER.” It remains to be seen if Musk — who may be a bit busyransackingthe federal government to pay attention — will think the same this time around, especially in this new political paradigm where “protecting free speech” is sooooo important.
