Kanye West Breaks Silence on Grammys Appearance With Wife Bianca Censori

Although reports initially surfaced that the duo had been kicked out of the event because of the controversial wardrobe choice, a source later confirmed to Us Weekly that they had “left on their own accord.” West’s song “Carnival” from his album Vultures 1 was nominated for Best Rap Song this year, a category he ultimately lost to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” During an interview on Tuesday, Grammys executive producer Raj Kapoor told People that West and Censori were never offered seats inside the arena to begin with, noting that the rapper’s category was “definitely in [the] Pre-Tel” portion of the ceremony, which takes place at the Peacock Theater ahead of the televised portion of the evening. After departing Sunday’s event, West and Censori still made a night of it, as the couple packed on the PDA at a Grammys after-party where the model changed into a second look, rocking a barely-there mesh bodysuit.
