Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas joked about officiating Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding after the Chiefs win the Super Bowl

“I have no special intel other than the fact that after the AFC Championship Game here in Kansas City, I was on the field and standing around,” the mayor told CNN anchors Sara Sidner, Kate Bolduan and John Berman. The 14-time Grammy Award winner’s close bonds with Travis’ loved ones – including mom Donna, dad Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie – have only grown since the couple started dating in the summer of 2023. Before game day, Lucas was asked about new X data that shows a majority of Americans hope to see the Philadelphia Eagles take down the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
